On an official map of Regent's Park a grid was drawn. This grid contains hundreds of intersection points and using a random number generator programme, 18 of these points were chosen. A Global Positioning System (GPS) unit was used to track each point. Another random sampling process was used to choose the orientation of the shot. As every decision required to take each picture has been made according to a random process the images are clean of any value judgments. In a way, these images claim to be an objective visual representation of the park.
